Plum Burl Cup

This cup was made from beautiful plum wood- gifted from a orchard in southern colorado. The grain stunned me and remains one of my favorite cups. It was a challenging piece because fruit wood can be so hard and dense and this was that and beyond. Wonderful color. Finished with tung oil.
