Maple Epoxy Cutting Board

Epoxy Is All the Rage. This was made using a scrap piece of maple and epoxy- I was amazed at the grain the maple was hiding, I chose this board because I thought the maple may not have the most interesting grain. Another lesson in judging a book by its cover. The photos do not do the movement of the epoxy justice. Its a flat black metallic that swirls throughout. The epoxy settled nicely into the cracks in the maple adding even more character. A fun venture outside of my comfort zone.
