Burnt Rim Cottonwood Bowl

This cottonwood bowl was made from a fallen branch found in the Los Ranchos river valley.  I turned this bowl while it was green leaving the bowl with a extreme warp. I struggled a lot with cracking and wood boring but the end result was worth it. Cottonwood has so much variation in grain and color its amazing to see what a fallen branch can become.
Finished with Danish oil.
