Black Walnut Hollowform

This Black Walnut Hollowform was very difficult. Trying to maintain the natural edge without breaking the piece tested my patience. Ultimately I lost a little more grain in the know than I planned but it turned out the piece looked even better without it. Once you get into Black Walnut it has a interesting smell some love it, some hate it.  I never work without my respirator (PAPR) and will keep my opinion about the smell to myself.
